Ciel Phantomhive Costume Review
So I have my entire Ciel Phantomhive Costume finished. Well, except for contacts but the contacts don't really need to be in the review.
The wig I got from amazon was about 8 dollars and it took about 3 weeks to get here. It is very comfortable and it stayed on my head really well even though I have a lot of hair. Though, sometimes, if I wear it for too long, it will start to itch but it's not uncomfortable at all.
So I ordered the entire costume from amazon with custom measurements and it took, also, about 3 weeks to get here.
The hat is very lovely and it has beautiful detail on it. The only thing that does bug me is that it is a clip so I would have to clip it to the wig. but other than that it's in really good shape and has good quality.
The eye patch at first I thought was probably too small, but then I soon realized it was perfect for me, since I have a small head. xD I don't have any real review for it, I just like eye patches xD #EyePatchLover :P
The bow is gorgeous and is very soft and shiny. The only thing that bugs me with this is that there is a safety pin on the back so I can clip it on to the shirt instead of tying it around the neck. That was fine with me until I tried it and the bow kept falling forward. I will probably modify that a little bit.
And here is my favorite part of the costume! I absolutely love the extra widened cuffs at the bottom of the sleeves. And the shirt is also soft and shiny like the bow and it fits perfectly. :D
The vest I think is really cool. I like the color and it fits wonderfully. I don't really have anything to say about the vest so I'll just move on to the shorts!
So I have a couple things to say about the shorts. First off all... I love the color! Secondly I like the buttons they put at the bottom of the shorts.
The pants fit really well. They look poofy or fluffy, whichever term you'd like to use, but it was sewn like that.
One major thing that I noticed about the pants was that the pants have a REALLY long zipper. It was funny because I was trying on the pants and the first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Damn that is one long ass zipper!"
Now I can not stress this enough but I absolutely ADORE the coat. It is so beautiful and it fits perfectly! I love wearing it because it is so comfortable.
The only problem is though, when I got it, the right button was broken. good thing it came with a spare!
The coat needs both buttons because the chain is set on both.
It is supposed to look like this, without me holding it, that is.
